Confirmation Cakes in Bracknell
A confirmation cake starts at £100 for a 6-inch cutting 8–12 slices; the size most of them are ordered at is the 8-inch at £130, which cuts 14–18 and covers family, godparents and grandparents. Made to order in Bracknell and delivered across Berkshire.
One piece of advice worth more than any design here: ask the person being confirmed. At thirteen to sixteen this is their decision, and the cakes that go wrong are the ones chosen as though it were a christening.

Why is a confirmation cake not a christening cake?
Because the customer changed. A baptism is done to an infant and the cake is chosen entirely by adults, which is why the tradition is pale, soft and gentle. A confirmation is taken by somebody old enough to have refused, usually between thirteen and sixteen, and the gathering afterwards is as much about them as about the sacrament. Order the imagery of infancy for that and you get a cake the confirmand is quietly embarrassed by in front of their cousins. The cakes that land are the plain, grown-up ones: one colour done well, their name, the date, and at most one symbol they picked.
The three briefs that come up
Plain and grown-up — one colour, name and date. Writing is included; see what to write.
Ceremonial — white or ivory with gold at £7–£15, or a crown at £30.
About them rather than the church — a colour, a hobby, a team, which is hobby cakes territory.
Several children at once — one larger cake or 12 cupcakes at £70 for a parish hall.
How many does a confirmation party feed?
More than a christening and fewer than a birthday, because the guest list is godparents and grandparents rather than a class of friends. An 8-inch cut into 18 portions covers the standard gathering with slices to send home, and that is the size ordered most often on this page. Where it changes is the parish confirmation: when six or ten children are confirmed in the same service and the families eat together afterwards, a 10-inch at £150 cutting 22–28, or 12 cupcakes at £70 needing no knife in a church hall, are the two sensible answers. The price guide lists what every size cuts.
What about the other sacraments and the age either side?
They are separate pages because they are separate cakes. Christening and first communion covers the two taken younger, including what is usually written on them and whether a white cake costs extra. At the other end, sixteenth birthday cakes is the same teenager a year or two later and makes the same argument about who to ask — many families order both within eighteen months. If the confirmation falls near a birthday, one cake can carry both, and the half-and-half cake is the format that lets two occasions share a tin without arguing.
