16th Birthday Cakes in Bracknell
A 16th birthday cake starts at £100 for a 6-inch cutting 8–12 slices; the size most sixteenths order is the 8-inch at £130, which cuts 14–18. The number 16 in fondant is £20. Made to order in Bracknell and delivered across Berkshire.
One piece of advice worth more than any design on this page: ask the sixteen-year-old. This is the first birthday they plan themselves, and the cakes that go wrong at this age are the ones chosen for them.

Why is a sixteenth different from the birthdays before it?
Because the customer changes. Up to about thirteen the cake is bought by a parent for a child, and the brief is a character or a colour. At sixteen the brief comes from the person whose birthday it is, and it is usually specific: not “football” but one team, not “music” but one album sleeve. That specificity is what makes these cakes good, and it is also why a parent ordering alone tends to order the cake their child liked three years ago. The practical version: get a photograph from them, and send it with the enquiry.
The three sixteenth cakes that get ordered
One colour and the number — £150 for an 8-inch with 16 on top.
One interest, done properly — a game, a team or a hobby, quoted with the picture.
A photograph on icing — the one that makes a room of teenagers take out their phones.
How many slices does a teenage party actually eat?
Fewer whole slices and more halves than the same number of adults. An 8-inch cut into 18 portions will serve a room of twelve to fifteen sixteen-year-olds with cake left over, because at this age roughly a third of the room takes a small piece and a third comes back for another. Order for the number of people, not the number of slices, and expect to send some home. The price guide lists what every size cuts.
What if half the room cannot eat normal cake?
At sixteen there is usually at least one guest with something — and the useful move is one cake everybody can eat rather than a second small cake nobody touches. One flavour is made without egg — and without dairy, as it happens — and there are separate pages for vegan, gluten-free and nut-free orders, each with what this kitchen can and cannot promise written out. Say what the constraint is in the enquiry and it is answered before you pay a deposit.
