Terms & conditions

The terms you agree to when you place an order with Sweet Panda Bakes. Please read them before you do.

1. Orders & Payment

Orders should be placed at least 7–10 days in advance for a cake with simple decoration, and at least 14 days for a tiered cake or detailed decoration. Exact timing is confirmed with you when you order.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order.
The remaining balance is due no later than 3 hours before the agreed collection time, or in cash when you collect. For a wedding cake the balance is due 7 days before the date.
Orders are considered confirmed only after the deposit is received.

The deposit is non-refundable. It can be moved to another date if you tell us at least 4 days before the collection day.
If you tell us later than that, the deposit is non-refundable and cannot be moved.
Once the cake has been collected or delivered, no refunds are available.

Delivery is available at an additional charge (price depends on distance and location).
Once the cake has been collected or delivered, responsibility for safe transport and storage passes to the client.
Sweet Panda is not responsible for any damage caused during or after collection/delivery.

Our cakes may contain allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy and others.
It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any allergies or intolerances before placing the order.
Sweet Panda cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions if information was not provided in advance.

We do not copy a design from another baker or from a photograph: we take what you send as inspiration and make our own version of it, so colour, decoration and detail will differ from the reference.
Fresh flowers, toppers or decorative items may be non-edible and must be removed before serving (this will always be explained to the client).

Sweet Panda photographs the cakes it makes and may use those photographs on this website and on social media, provided no surname or other personal detail is visible. If you would rather your cake was not published, tell us in writing when you order and we will consider the request.
Client's personal data (names, contact details, event details) will never be shared.

In the event of illness, supply issues or other unforeseen circumstances, Sweet Panda reserves the right to cancel the order and will provide a full refund of any payments received.

By placing an order with Sweet Panda Bakes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
