Animal, Jungle and Safari Cakes in Bracknell
Animal cakes start at £100 for a 6-inch round with modelled animals on top, at £15 per animal. Jungle, farm and safari are the same cake with a different top: green and leafy, primary and fenced, or sand and khaki. Made to order in Bracknell and delivered across Berkshire.
The choice worth making before you enquire is round-with-figures against carved-into-the-shape. The first is predictable in price and feeds what the size says; the second loses a third of the cake to the carving.

Figures on a round cake, or a carved animal?
These are two different orders and they fail in different ways. Figures on a round cake cost £15 each on top of a £100–£130 cake, arrive looking exactly like the picture you sent, and cut into the number of slices the size promises. A carved animal is one object — the cake is the animal — and it photographs better than anything else this kitchen makes, but a quarter to a third of the sponge leaves as offcuts and the price is quoted rather than listed.
The same budget, two ways
£160 — an 8-inch round, two animals, 14–18 slices.
£160 — a 6-inch round, four animals, 8–12 slices: a whole scene on a smaller cake.
Carved — quoted, one animal, and the photograph everybody remembers.
What goes on a jungle cake besides animals?
Leaves, and more of them than people expect. A jungle cake reads as a jungle because of the foliage, not the monkey: six or eight fondant leaves in two greens up one side of the cake do more than a third animal would, and they cost less because a leaf is cut rather than modelled. The other two cheap wins are a sugar-paste vine piped down the side and a buttercream grass border around the base, both included in the finish rather than charged per item. What about a farm cake for a first birthday?
Farm is the one animal theme that suits a one-year-old, because the animals a toddler can name — cow, sheep, pig, duck — are all round and all easy to model at the size of a walnut. A 6-inch at £100 with three of them is the common order, and the number one in fondant costs nothing extra against a figure.
