Easter Cakes in Bracknell
Sunday, 28 March 2027. Cakes and cupcakes made to order for the Easter table, from £70 for a 4" bento serving 4 to £130 for an 8-inch serving 14–18. Ask by Thursday 18 March.
One thing to plan around before anything else: the kitchen is closed on Mondays, and Easter Monday is a bank holiday as well. The last collection is the Sunday.

Which days are actually available over Easter?
Fewer than the four-day weekend suggests, and this is the part worth reading before you plan the lunch. Easter runs Friday to Monday; the kitchen works 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday and 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Sunday, and is closed on Mondays all year. Easter Monday is therefore not a collection day at all, which catches people out every spring.
| Day | Collection | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Friday 26 March | Yes, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM | The easiest day of the four to collect |
| Easter Saturday | Yes, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Busiest — book the slot when you order |
| Easter Sunday | Yes, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Short day, so an early slot if lunch is at one |
| Monday 29 March | No — closed | Collect on the Sunday; a cake keeps two days |
Delivery is quoted by distance from £30 on any open day — how delivery is quoted. If the cake has to be in the house on Monday, collect it Sunday and keep it cool: cake care covers the overnight part.
What is a simnel cake, and why is it not on this page?
A simnel cake is the traditional English Easter cake: a dense boiled-fruit cake with a layer of marzipan baked through the middle, covered in more marzipan, and finished with eleven marzipan balls — one for each apostle except Judas. It is the single most searched Easter cake in the country, and this kitchen does not make one.
That is a difference of trade rather than of willingness. A fruit cake is built on dried fruit soaked for days and matured for weeks; the cakes here are sponges and thin layered cakes finished in cream, made for the week they are eaten. If a simnel is what Easter means in your family, a traditional fruit-cake baker is the right person to ask. If what you want is a cake for the Easter table, that is this page.
What colours and shapes suit an Easter cake?
Spring colours rather than Easter iconography, in most orders. Across the 97 cakes photographed and tagged here, yellow appears on 16, pink on 31 and green on 19 — the palette an Easter cake wants is the kitchen’s ordinary spring one, not a special order.
The three things people ask for on top are a nest of chocolate eggs, piped spring flowers, and a cake in the shape of an egg. The first two are straightforward. The third is a shaped cake and is quoted with the design, like any other — the toppers page has what each addition costs. For children, cupcakes beat a cake: an egg hunt does not pause for a knife, and a box hands out in seconds.
