Celebration Cakes in Bracknell

For the things that are worth marking and have no date of their own — a new job, a house, an exam, a treatment finished, somebody home. From £70 for a cake for two up to £270 for two tiers and 22–30 slices, made to order in Bracknell.

The occasion changes nothing about the price and everything about the wording. Tell us what actually happened and the cake will say it.

What size for how many people?

The same arithmetic as any cake, and worth doing because celebrations tend to be impromptu and under-counted. The table below is the kitchen’s own portion list. For a workplace, count everybody who will walk past the table rather than everybody invited.

Why does an unnamed occasion suit a plain cake?

Because there is no visual language to borrow. A birthday has candles and a number, a wedding has white and tiers, Christmas has its colours — a new job has none of that, and a cake that invents a theme for it usually ends up looking like a corporate away-day. The cakes that work here are plain and well made: one or two colours, a clean finish, and the reason written on top in a few words. That is also the cheapest version, since the price follows size and decoration rather than occasion.

Things people have had written on them

The new job title, spelled out in full, which is funnier than it sounds.

The house number.

The date somebody finished treatment.

A single word that only four people understand.

How quickly can one be made?

Good news does not give notice, so this is the page where lead times matter most. A bento is 3–5 days at £70 and is the realistic answer to something that happened on Tuesday. A full cake is 7–10 days, or inside 7 days at 50% more if the diary has room. Either way the reply comes the same day, so asking costs you only the time it takes to type it.

What is possible at short notice is set out on last-minute cakes.

What else do people ask?

Allergies? Our kitchen handles all 14 of the allergens UK law requires us to declare, so nothing we bake is free from any of them. What is in each cake, and our hygiene rating.
