Last-Minute Cakes in Bracknell
The honest answer first: nothing here is baked in advance, so a cake for tomorrow is usually a no. What is possible is a 4" bento cake in 3–5 days at £70, or a cake inside 7 days with 50% added, when the diary allows it.
Ask anyway. The reply comes back the same day, and an enquiry that says what you would accept — smaller, simpler, collected rather than delivered — gets a yes far more often than one that does not.

How quickly can each thing be made?
Four lead times, and they are the same ones the rest of the site quotes — a page about hurrying is the last place to start inventing a faster number. The table below is what the kitchen works to; the rush fee applies to the cake, not to the bento, because a bento is already the quick one.
| What | Notice | From | Rush possible? |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4" Bento Cake | 3–5 days | £70 | Already the quick one |
| Cupcakes | 7–10 days | £36 | Ask — a small box sometimes fits |
| Single-tier cake | 7–10 days | £100 | Yes, 50% inside 7 days |
| Two tiers | 14–20 days | Quoted | Rarely — tiers need to set |
Why is there no next-day service?
Because a cake is not stock. A supermarket can hand you a cake today because it was baked last week in a factory and has a shelf life to match; this one is baked for your date, filled, chilled overnight so the layers settle, and finished on the day it leaves. Take a day out of that sequence and you get a cake that slumps when it is cut. The bento exists precisely because that short sequence can be run in 3–5 days at a size where it works.
What should you give up first?
The decoration, every time. Baking and filling are fixed; modelled figures, hand-made flowers and fondant panels are what add days, because each one has to dry before anything can be built on it. Give those up and a plain cake in one or two colours with writing on top is often possible in a week when the elaborate version is not. After that, give up size — a 6-inch at £100 is quicker than a 8-inch — and then delivery, since collecting it yourself removes a fixed slot from somebody’s afternoon.
In the order you should offer them
Simpler decoration — the single biggest saving.
A smaller size.
Collection instead of delivery.
A bento instead of a cake — £70, 3–5 days, no rush fee.
